Privacy policy of Styrian Technology Park regulates the collection, processing and storage of personal data held by Štajerski Tehnološki Park d.o.o. in the context of its operation.

STP performs development tasks and activities at the regional, national and international level in the public interest, such as:
- Network business-business incubator for innovative and development-oriented companies;
- Regional Center for Technological Development;
- Promoting the development of entrepreneurship and innovative solutions;
- Comprehensive business support in the development of entrepreneurial ideas and young people, as well as established companies;
- Networking and internationalization of companies;
- Business premises for businesses;
- Identification, preparation and design of development projects;
- Connecting and strengthening the business community in the region and beyond.
As part of the implementation of development tasks of the business support environment in Slovenia, STP may obtain personal data of individuals involved in the implementation of tasks to the minimum extent necessary for the implementation of an individual task.
When sending an inquiry in the “Contact” section, STP obtains the name and surname, e-mail address and IP address of the sender. The data is used only for the purpose of preparing a response for the user.
When subscribing to the newsletter, STP obtains only the e-mail address that the user enters in the online form. The data is used only for the purpose of sending electronic news.
You can withdraw your consent to receive e-news at any time by clicking on the “Unsubscribe” link located in the footer of the e-news. In the event of withdrawal of consent, we will no longer use your personal data to send e-news. Any withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing of your personal data at the time before the withdrawal was given.
STP respects your privacy and is obliged to handle the collection, storage and processing of personal data with care and in accordance with the applicable regulations on the protection of personal data.
In order to prevent unauthorized access to or disclosure of the data obtained, to maintain the accuracy of personal data and to ensure their proper use, we use appropriate technical and organizational procedures to secure the data we collect. STP cannot rule out possible misuse of data, as the Internet is an unpredictable medium, despite security measures and security communication protocols.
We process the personal data you provide to us when you subscribe to e-news and events with your clear and unambiguous consent, based on Article 6 (1), (a) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
In accordance with the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access your personal data, the right to rectification, the right to erasure (“forgetting”), the right to portability, the right to restrict the processing of personal data and the right to object.

STP stores your personal data for as long as is necessary to carry out the purpose for which they were obtained. The retention periods for personal data may vary depending on the applicable sectoral legislation. In the event that the applicable sectoral legislation sets mandatory deadlines for the storage of personal data, STP deletes personal data after the expiry of the mandatory deadline prescribed by law.
